At Two Hearts Photography, we believe a child’s experience always comes first.
We understand that for many children, photo day can feel unfamiliar, sometimes even overwhelming. That’s why we approach every centre with patience, kindness, and genuine care, creating a calm, inclusive and supportive environment where children feel safe to simply be themselves.
Our sessions are gentle and unhurried. We never force a child to participate, and we always follow the guidance of your educators, who know each child best. If a child needs time, space, or chooses not to be photographed, that choice is always respected.
With experience working across Logan, Brisbane, Gold Coast and surrounding areas, we understand how to create a smooth, organised experience. While we love creating beautiful images for families, we believe the most important outcome of the day is that each child feels comfortable, valued, and at ease.

Our Photographer - Karen
Karen has over 10 years of experience photographing families, with a genuine passion for working with children.
For the past five years, she has specialised in photographing kindergarten-aged children, where her natural ability to connect truly shines.
With her fun-loving nature (and famously terrible jokes), Karen has a gentle way of building trust with each child, helping them feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves in front of the camera.
She is known for her patience, kindness, and the genuine care she brings to every interaction, always taking the time each child needs, never rushing, and never forcing a moment.
Our Assistant - Gail
Gail is our calm, organised, and quietly confident presence on photo day.
Karen likes to call her “the warm-up act” — though more often than not, Gail ends up being the one children remember most.
She has a natural way of helping children feel at ease, greeting them with a friendly smile, a bit of humour, and a reassuring presence that helps turn nerves into comfort and confidence.
Gail supports the flow of the day by gently bringing children to and from class, helping them feel ready, and creating a relaxed moment before they step in front of the camera.
Her thoughtful, steady approach allows each child to settle in their own time, making the experience feel safe, unhurried, and positive.
Photo Day – A Simple, Thoughtful Process
We keep everything as easy and organised as possible for your centre.
Before Photo Day
We provide clear, ready-to-use information for families, including registration details and reminders. Our online system is simple for parents, with no upfront cost and no obligation to purchase.
On the Day
We arrive early, set up quietly, and allow time for children to settle into their day.
Sessions are calm and unhurried. We follow your team’s guidance and support children at their own pace. If a child feels unsure, we respond with patience and care.
Group Photos
- Kindergartens: traditional group photos (with consent)
- Childcare/ELCs: composite class photos for registered children.
- Or you can choose not do a class photo if you prefer.
After Photo Day
Families receive a secure online gallery within 2–3 weeks. Orders will be delivered back to the centre or posted to homes if the order was placed after the closing date for a small delivery fee.

Minimal Disruption to Your Day
